These are tough times, but in this climate of social
distancing and employment difficulties, we are increasingly seeing people stand
together (metaphorically, not literally) and give a freshly washed, sanitized helping
hand. An excellent example of this is the Hospitality Food Pantry that Councilmember
Kristin Gisleson Palmer is organizing this week. For those working in the
hospitality industry or who are considered "gig economy workers" affected by
the coronavirus outbreak, she is offering a drive-up food pantry. Come by and
get food to feed yourselves and your families during this uncertain and difficult
