Known for their award-winning tacos and hand-crafted margaritas, Felipe's is something you don't want to miss, especially on a day like this! Uptown, Downtown, or Mid-City, wherever you are in the Big Easy chances are there's a Felipe close by. Though Felipe's is a quick-paced concept restaurant, the ambiance is as welcoming and as hospitable as ever. For approximately 15 years, Felipe's has provided locals and tourists with delicious Mexican fare, creatively crafted cocktails, and an overall sense of community.
National Bartender Day was founded in 2011 by sailor Jerry Rum and is an annual appreciation held every first Friday of December to express gratitude and acknowledge the skill, patience, and technique that bartenders possess. We owe it to them for most eventful nights out, so what better way to thank them (with extra tip, of course) than by dedicating a whole day to their talent and craft?
In honor of this national holiday, Felipe's will be offering patrons the regular 3 - 6 p.m. happy hour menu (on select food and drinks), along with seasonal specials such as Queso fries and a Prickly Pear cocktail. But hurry, as some of these seasonal select items will be off the menu soon! Along with this, all of Felipe's bartending staff in the entirety of New Orleans will match tips for their hardworking bartenders!
