For the average book lover, tales of romance offer a simple breath of fresh air in a sea of novels often bogged down by unadulterated seriousness. The romance genre, especially in the realm of the modern writer, has become one dominated by witty protagonists, steamy (almost) kisses, annoyingly attractive love interests, and oh so many beloved tropes. More than just our favorite trope of enemies to lovers, Farrah Rochon's The Hookup Plan centers on strong female friendships. In fact, the storyline begins with the main character London Kelley's best friends Samiah and Taylor helping her to de-stress through a simple suggestion: an easy hookup with no strings attached. Funnily enough, London ends up fulfilling her plan at the least likely of places with the least likely of people: at her high school reunion with her millionaire archnemesis, Drew Sullivan.

Filled with tension - that's more than sexual - London finds her hookup plan to be a little more complicated than originally thought. As a pediatric surgeon sleeping with the man who just may shut down her beloved Austin hospital, things can get a little messy, and when the enemy proves to be kinder than she thought, those things only get messier. Lovers of romance won't want to miss out on the comedic satisfaction of these archnemeses getting together on a whim… and (hopefully) making things work.

About Farrah Rochon and the Upcoming Celebration

Starting out her writing career in between classes at Xavier University, southern Louisiana native Farrah Rochon had humble beginnings on the romance writers' scene. After graduating from Xavier and going on to earn her Masters of Arts at Southeastern Louisiana University, Rochon decided it was high time to dive headfirst into her lifelong dream: becoming a published author.

Since then, Farrah Rochon and her books have generated rave reviews, considerable recognition and awards, and placed Rochon on multiple lists for best romance writers. Other than writing delectable stories for the romance lover in all of us, Farrah, of course, loves reading in her free time, taking trips to Disney world, indulging in Broadway shows, and rooting for the beloved New Orleans' Saints on gamedays.
