The Emeril Lagasse Foundation is hosting their 15th annual fundraising weekend November 8th and 9th. Last year, the event raised $3 million to support the mission of the Foundation, which is to provide culinary mentorship and inspiration to New Orleans youth.
The "two nights, one cause" event begins on Friday night at Champion's Square with Boudin, Bourbon & Beer. Boudin, Bourbon & Beer is a showcase and appreciation of creative culinary talent, featuring the gastronomical skills of more than 70 top chefs from across the country. Accompanying the food, local craft beers from Abita Beer and bourbon cocktails from Buffalo Trace will be available at the bar.
On Saturday, November 9th, Carnivale du Vin will take place at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The wine auction and gala is a black-tie event continuing the weekend's celebration of food and drink.
