Elton John will kickstart his final North American tour, beginning right here in New Orleans on January 19, 2022. The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour marks Elton John's retirement from touring, and this final on-the-road world tour will start off overseas in Berlin, Germany, on September 1, 2021, before heading to this side of the pond in 2022. This tour, which has been hailed by Rolling Stone as "the most bombastic, highly technical display John has ever attempted," will visit various cities and countries throughout the world for one final, spectacular show. John's critically acclaimed Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour will allow fans to take part in a magical journey detailing his amazing 50-year career as he performs his most famous songs accompanied by never-before-seen videos and photos.

John expressed missing touring and performing as the world continues to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. While John spent time at home, he was working towards creating a tour that will consider the safety and health of all in attendance. John's Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour originally started in September 2018, receiving rave reviews and "Tour of the Year" awards from Pollstar and iHeartRadio and "Top Rock Tour" in 2019 from the Billboard Music Awards.
