Dunkin’ Donuts today announced that it will host a grand opening celebration for its newest restaurant in Chalmette at 8609 West Judge Perez Dr. from 3PM-5PM on Thursday, November 30. To celebrate the grand opening, the restaurant will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with St. Bernard Parish President Guy McInnis and the St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce, and also offer free coffee for a year to the store’s first 100 guests starting at 3 PM. The free coffee for a year coupon book is redeemable for one coffee a week for 52 weeks.
Throughout the day, the location is offering a free medium hot or iced coffee to all guests. Attendees can also enjoy raffle giveaways, coupons for discounted Dunkin’ Donuts menu offerings, the Dunkin’ Prize wheel, photo opportunities with Dunkin’ Donuts mascots Cuppy and Sprinkles and more.
This holiday season, Dunkin’ Donuts is also brewing up joy in the local Chalmette community, as the grand opening will include a $1,000 check donation to the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. This donation is aligned with the Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission to provide the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids.
Vik Patel, of Purple Square Management Company, is the Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee for the new restaurant in Chalmette and currently operates 56 restaurants throughout Alabama, Florida and Louisiana.

The new Dunkin’ Donuts in Chalmette will keep customers energized with the brand’s beverage offerings including high-quality, freshly-brewed Hot and Iced Coffees, Cold Brew and 30% Rainforest Alliance Certified™ Dark Roast, along with a Rainforest Alliance Certified™ espresso lineup that includes Americano, Cappuccino, Espresso, and Hot and Iced Lattes and Macchiato. Dunkin’ Donuts will also serve a full menu of Premium Hot Teas, Coolatta® frozen beverages, delicious donuts, bakery goods and sandwiches - that pair perfectly with the brand’s coffee beverages. All Dunkin’ Donuts menu items are available any time of day, and guests are encouraged to customize their favorite food and beverages.
The new Dunkin’ Donuts’ will also serve the brand’s holiday menu, including the new Frosted Sugar Cookie Donut, new Gingerbread Cookie Donut, Snowflake Sprinkle Donut and Snowflake Sprinkle MUNCHKINS®. For coffee lovers, the returning holiday flavors include Peppermint Mocha and Brown Sugar Cinnamon. Both coffee flavors are available for a limited time hot or iced, including lattes, macchiatos, and Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee.
The restaurant will be open from 5 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week and will employ approximately 25 crew members. It will feature comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi to provide a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ high-quality coffee beverages in a friendly atmosphere.
