Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints quarterback, will continue his food industry legacy by investing in a new, premium fast-food burger joint, Smalls Sliders.

Smalls Sliders, according to the press release, will be focusing on “craveable, premium slider burgers as the main dish.”

The recycled shipping container will feature an open kitchen, where bite-sized burgers will be cooked to order. Though there will be no dining room, the restaurant will feature outdoor seating, walk-up and drive-thru service.

Smalls Sliders is set to open its first location near Tigerland in Baton Rouge, with bigger plans to expand across the country.

Brees, who also owns Jimmy John’s franchises and has invested in the Waitr delivery service, teamed up with Brandon Landry, who is the founder of Walk-On Bistreaux and Bar, to bring Smalls Sliders to life.
