As the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival approaches, remember not to miss out on the early-bird deals. For locals, the Jazz Fest is offering a “Locals Thursday” discount for a general admission $50. For non-Louisiana residents, the early-bird price is $65 through April 6. After the April 6th deadline, the price will increase to $70 then $80 at the gate.
To qualify for the “Local Thursday” early-bird deal, you must show a valid id and only two tickets per resident may be purchased. The “Local Thursday” special is May 3 which includes a performance by Lionel Richie. Tickets can be purchased at the Gentilly and Sauvage booths and the Trafalgar gate.
