Preservation Hall says that it "supports the
unique culture of traditional jazz in New Orleans, which developed in the local
melting pot of African, Caribbean, and European musical traditions at the turn
of the 20th century." Since then, Preservation Hall has nourished, helped, and
supported local jazz musicians as well as jazz as a genre of music, and the
HALLiday Gram is an initiative to continue their legacy and relationship with
jazz.
Those who purchase HALLiday Grams will be able
to schedule their two-song jazz musician performance and delivery of their
goodies between December 18 and December 23, from 12:00 p.m. to 6 p.m. The
delivery is available to valid addresses in Orleans and Jefferson Parishes.
The HALLiday Gram offers you an opportunity to
support the jazz musicians who make New Orleans, well, New Orleans. This
one-of-a-kind offering provides you with a personal concert, gear that supports
Preservation Hall, and the chance to help out local musicians who bring alive
New Orleans's jazz spirit. Click here to purchase a HALLiday Gram,
