Join thousands of racers on Saturday, June 4, for the Crescent Connection Bridge Run as they sprint from the West Bank to the East Bank. It will be the Crescent City Classic's first Bridge Run since COVID-19 forced them to put it on the back burner in 2020.
Sponsored by Caesars Sportsbook, the popular 4-mile race over the state's historic bridge this year will now be a 5K one. It will start at 7:00 p.m. near Oakwood Center and end at Fulton Street where an after-party will be held at Manning's Sports Bar.
It's a perfect opportunity for a work out and to check out a cool glimpse of the city. Participants will enjoy breathtaking views of the Mississippi River and the New Orleans skyline at sunset, according to CCC Race Director Eric Stuart.
"It's a scene and race you don't want to miss," Stuart said.
The race will cost $40 per runner and walker until May 28 at midnight and afterwards cost $45. Registrants will receive a Bridge Run t-shirt, race bib, and the prized finisher medal. Teams of 10 people or more will get $5 off.
