Friday nights’ SimplePlay Presents local music showcase featured the Coyotes, Cardinal Sons, and The Kid Carsons at One Eyed Jacks was a family reunion both literal and extended. There were several members of the Cardinal Sons family in the audience for their performance. The extended portion came in that members of both Cardinal Sons and Coyotes are in The Kid Carsons. Members of The Kid Carsons and Cardinal Sons joined Coyotes toward the end of their set for a rambling and all out rock version of Fleet Wood Mac’s “Dreams.” The evening as a whole played to that party atmosphere. The Kid Carsons play next with Sons of Bill at Gasa Gasa on Nov 4 and Coyotes will have new tunes out in spring 2015, sometime before Jazz Fest. They will play next with Frontier Ruckus at Gasa Gasa on December 16. Both events are presented via SimplePlay Presents.
