On Wednesday, June 1, Barcadia is opening their home to three of Comedy Central’s best comics for a special pre-taping show, hosted by Katie East, who opened for Louis C.K. at The Joy Theatre.
So, come get your laughs out as acclaimed comics Mike Recine (Conan and MTV Video Music Awards), Nick Turner (Late Night with Seth Meyers and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), and Naomi Ekperigin (Broad City and TruTV) prepare their sets before their big Comedy Central “Half Hour” tapings, which, is coming to New Orleans to shoot its fifth season this summer.
And, if some raw and uncensored humor isn't quite enough for you, New Orleans-own and internationally-known burlesque goddess, Trixie Minx, is set to give an especially rowdy performance.
