On Saturday night, Chris Stapleton rolled through New Orleans on his All-American Road Show tour. The Smoothie King Center was at max capacity for this sold-out show that featured opening acts Morgan Wade and Elle King.
Stapleton opened his set with "Nobody to Blame" from his 2015 album, Traveller. He went on to play a 2 hour set with all of his hits including, "Parachute," "Cold," "Millionaire," "You Should Probably Leave," "Broken Halos," and "Tennessee Whiskey." Halfway through his set, a 9-year-old boy in the front row shouted to Stapleton to play "Death Row" to which Stapleton happily obliged after a short conversation with the boy. He saved it for the encore, playing both "Death Row," and finishing the night with "Outlaw State of Mind."
