Chris Cornell, Soundgarden and Audioslave Frontman, Dies at 52

By: Staff

The death of singer-songwriter Chris Cornell was announced late last night, May 17. The musician had only moments before completed a performance with Sound Garden at the MGM Grand in Detroit. Later he was found unresponsive in his hotel room. Though currently under investigation, Cornell's death is being looked into as a “possible suicide.”

Cornell is best known for his involvement in Sound Garden and Audioslave, although his work goes beyond just these.

We receive this news with great sadness. Our condolences go out to Cornell's family and friends.
