Amanda Shaw Returns with Her Award-winning Louisiana Fiddling

Beginning on Saturday, March 25, the Chemin à la Mer dining room at the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans and Donald Link will once again host Amanda Shaw as part of a "Afternoons with Amanda" series. The enthusiastic fiddler will play for four Saturdays in a row from 12 to 3 p.m.

The Louisiana and French-inspired menu at Chemin à la Mer, which has breathtaking views of the Mississippi River, pays homage to the wealth of the Gulf Coast with fresh local seafood, its Grand Oyster Bar, and seasonal specialties. French-inspired delicacies like Moules Frites and Croque Monsieur are offered on the rotating menu. Also, a fresh assortment of oysters from every coast is available every day at the Grand Oyster Bar.

The eclectic fusion of music that Amanda Shaw makes with each note shows her love for her culture. The gifted musician is pushing the boundaries of creativity with new songs and ground-breaking initiatives, like her newly released cover of Louisiana Saturday Night in association with New Orleans bounce artist, Choppa. The locally raised performer has established herself as one of Louisiana music's most known brands by frequently performing at renowned events like the French Quarter Festival, Jazz Fest, and others. Fans may enjoy the world-class, Louisiana-born music in a superior way thanks to the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame induction. Six of her critically praised EPs are among her extensive list of musical achievements.

The new Four Seasons, which is scheduled to open in summer 2021, will have 341 guest rooms and suites, wellness amenities like a full-service spa, fitness center, and outdoor pool deck, cutting-edge event spaces, private gardens for hosting celebrations like weddings and conferences, signature restaurants by Alon Shaya and Donald Link, and 92 Four Seasons Private Residences.

"We love having Amanda entertain our guests and liven up our Saturdays," said Chef Link. "Her high energy and charismatic personality get everyone in the spirit. She is the epitome of Cajun culture and charm."

"I'm thrilled to partner with the Four Seasons Hotel for a second straight year to offer Chemin à la Mer guests an unforgettable experience," said Shaw. "Chemin à la Mer authentically embodies the unique flavor that makes Louisiana so special and I'm excited to be a part of that."

Chemin à la Mer is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Reservations are available on OpenTable, by phone at 504-434-5898, and by email at cheminalamer.neworleans@fourseasons.com. Follow along on Instagram @CheminalaMer and @FSHotelNewOrleans.
