Covington's Chef Soiree

The 42nd annual Chef Soiree in Old Covington was a smashing success. Not only did the top restaurants on the Northshore and Southshore arrive to dazzle with culinary delights and spirit, wine, beer, and coffee brands show up to provide plenty of beverages, this was the first time in the popular event's history that all of the tickets for the brand new car raffle sold out! Banner Ford provided the prize car to the lucky winner right before a fireworks display lit up the night sky.

Leading up to the big moment, well-known names in the Greater New Orleans culinary scene including Gallagher's Grill, New Orleans Seafood & Spirits, Bon Sake, Paco's Tacos, Courtyard Bistro, and even Blue Bell Ice Cream provided an array of dishes to sample. One could not eat everything that was available. Beverage brands such as PJ's Coffee, Hampton Water, Still Austin Whiskey, Abita Brewing Co., and so many more helped to wash it all down.

All of the funds raised by ticket sales, the raffle, and a very generous anonymous donor support the efforts of the Youth Service Bureau. The multi-faceted organization provides advocacy, counseling, education, and intervention for at-risk youth and their families in St. Tammany and Washington Parishes.
