Mellow Night in NOLA
Indie musicians Cavetown and Frankie Cosmos performed in New Orleans at the Joy Theater on November 7, 2024 as part of their North American tour through the United States and Canada.
Born Robin Daniel Skinner in England, Cavetown is a singer-songwriter, record producer, and YouTuber with five studio albums under their belt. Their forth album Sleepyhead charted on both the U.S. Billboard charts and the Official Albums Chart in the U.K. Their sound incorporates elements of indie music, bedroom pop, and lo-fi, and they have released many singles including "Boys Will Be Bugs," "Devil Town," and "This Is Home."
Originally from New York City, Greta Kline, also known as Frankie Cosmos, has released four studio albums. Kline and her band also blend indie music, bedroom pop, and lo-fi into their sound, and she even collaborated with Cavetown on their newly released song "magic 8 ball."
