When your friends and family ask you what hotel should they stay at when they come to the Crescent City, you can tell them the Canopy by Hilton. The brand new, fresh, and forward-thinking hotel located at 1100 Tulane Avenue is 176 rooms of refinement and refreshment. Each Just-Right Room comes with a recycled glass bottle that you can fill up with still or sparking water at one of the Hydration Stations. There are recycling bins in each room. Your doggos are absolutely welcome to come along, and they will be treated to some special treats when you get to your room. You can leave your luggage and take a shower at the Transfer Lounge if you arrive at the hotel before check-in or have some time on your hands after check-out. The Canopy truly has their guests in mind!

All visitors are welcome to enjoy one-of-a-kind cuisine at the in-house restaurant Ginger ROUX (locals will certainly be checking it out too). Ginger ROUX is a Creole/Cantonese concept helmed by Executive Chef Jonathan Hostetler formerly of Caesars Entertainment and the Link Restaurant Group. For the opening event, diners were treated to a menu featuring Lemongrass BBQ Shrimp with grilled chili-herb butter bread, Gumbo Dumplings where the chicken and smoked sausage-stuffed dumplings sat in a delish house-made gumbo broth, and Crawfish Boil Fried Rice made unique with Louisiana crawfish tails, andouille, and charred corn. The General Tso's Alligator was one of the most ordered dishes.

Vacation or staycation, Canopy in downtown New Orleans is a warm, welcoming respite.
