Bad breath is no longer a concern, at least for one Canadian man. Dubbed the #FreshBreathBandit, the still-at-large man casually walked into an Ontario pharmacy on December 17 and filled up an entire garbage bag with gum, then left the store. He returned with another garbage bag, filled that one up, and then left in a waiting taxi. Not a single customer or employee noticed.
However, the man's intentions may be less hygeine-oriented, and more focussed towards the black market. According to the National Post, York Regional Police Const. Andy Pattenden assumes he attempts to resell the $1,528 worth of loot because “it would take an awful lot of time to get through that much chewing gum.”
