In honor of its 125th anniversary, Zatarain's is hosting the “World's Largest Crawfish Boil” in Champion's Square on Saturday, May 10th from 12 to 6 pm. Over 25,000 pounds of crawfish will be “berled” for this momentous occasion and officials will be on hand to certify the event in categories like “Largest Attendance at a Crawfish Boil in a Single Day” and “Largest Amount of Pounds Boiled at a Crawfish Boil in a Single Day.”
As if gorging yourself on massive amounts of crawfish isn't enough, Big Sam's Funky Nation and Flow Tribe will be performing on this special day and all food and beverage proceeds will be donated directly to the Second Harvest Food Band.
