Let the Good Times Roll! Celebrating the Bourbon Festival this weekend at Canal Place with distilleries and restaurants, along with judging events, seminars, and patron parties throughout New Orleans, and a bourbon tasting at Canal Place on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Unlike previous iterations, Bourbon Festival was held at Canal Place. Beginning with a sampling of Woodinville, Sir Davis, and Chandon in the former Anthropologie store, you were asked to ascend the glass elevator to the 5th floor. Though it seemed odd at first traversing the parking garage, it suddenly made sense. The Grand Tasting was being held under the stars and moon with the twinkling lights of the city skyline surrounding you on the open-air deck. Only this area could hold such a large event several stories off of the ground and outside. Dozens of brands were represented, some from far away and some from right here at home.
Dark Arts and Redemption are always crowd favorites, while Yellowstone made a great impression with those who are a fan of the show by the same name. Sugarfield Spirts and Atelier Vie Distillery both made in Louisiana showed off their large portfolios. It would take two whole nights to be able to get through the huge array presented.
