Boozy Bake Sale Brings Together New Orleans Chefs to Support Women’s Reproductive Rights

The Magazine Merchant House will be hosting Just Cause: A Boozy Bake Sale for Reproductive Rights on Saturday, June 22nd. The event will take place from 3-7 p.m. and feature a litany of local New Orleans chefs and bartenders. Bacchanal's Bronwen Wyatt, Willa Jean's, Compere Lapin's Nina Compton, Coquette's Kristen Essig, Gracious Bakery's Megan Forman, Molly's Rise and Shine's Liz Hollinger and Jess Tiedman Stokes, and many more will be in attendance. Together they will bring classic New Orleans' baked goods and cocktails in the name of reproductive rights.

All the proceeds from this special bake sale will go to Planned Parenthood Gulf South and The New Orleans Abortion Fund as they continue to fight for a woman's right to choose throughtout New Orleans and, more generally, the south.
