Established in 1988, New Orleans-based Better Than Ezra is always doing special things to entertain their fans. With Jazz Fest finally happening after a two-year vacation, the guys thought it fitting to do something a bit more special for their latest appearance at the House of Blues. So, they decided to perform their album Closer front to back. The full album concept isn't anything new to them as they have done the first the albums that same way. The set started off with Closer, and then was followed by an assortment of hits and covers.
Kevin and company were beyond thrilled to be back home playing. Although they were just here in August, the mood was completely different, the distance between band and audience has gotten smaller. Covid really made the band rethink things. Now that it's coming to a manageable end, the shows have evolved with the circumstances. You can see more pictures here.
