Tonya Boyd-Cannon & Friends was smashing at Café Istanbul last week. Our writer Kimmie Tubre had this to say about the songstress’s performance: “Her vibe and stage presence is witty and dope. She will make you laugh and cry in the same set, for sure at some point you will be in tears. She is a crowd drawing charismatic performer with one of the best voices I've heard in a while.” Tonya Boyd-Cannon has some more shows scheduled soon and I’ll let you know of more chances to hear her. This week is pretty special for us here at Where Y’at. We’re throwing a party and want you to join us!
