The Backstreet Boys (BSB) have announced that their biggest tour in 18 years will be making its way to New Orleans’s own Smoothie King Center on Friday, August 30, 2019. Fans will be excited to know that the tour is accompanied by the release of their new album DNA, coming out January 25th on RCA Records. Their new album features songs written by Lauv (Charli XCX), Andy Grammer, Stuart Crichton (DNCE) and Mike Sabbath (J Balvin). BSB was inspired after analyzing their individual DNA profiles. The iconic vocal group realized what unique elements each member individually represented in the group’s DNA to create the legendary Backstreet Boys as a whole.  Howie D of the Backstreet Boys recalled that “when this group started 26 years ago – and through all the highs and lows of our career –we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group.” Kevin Richardson added that the group was “able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group.” “The journey is ongoing with us and there is so much left to do,” assured Brian Littrell. Tickets the see the Backstreet Boys rock the Crescent City will go on sale November 14th at LiveNation.com and purchase will include one physical copy of DNA, their 10th studio album.
