If you are a member of Amazon Prime, you can now order groceries online directly from Whole Foods, a subsidiary of Amazon. This Amazon Prime exclusive service launched in other American cities earlier this year, and it has now officially launched in New Orleans (one among 39 cities that now enjoy this service).

The service is called Prime Now (primenow.amazon.com). You can log in their website with your Amazon account and shop for groceries the same way you do books or shoes. Once Prime gets your ZIP code, your nearest Whole Foods Market picks up and completes your order. The delivery is free, but a tip for the courier is automatically included in the bill unless you opt out of tipping.

In addition to the city of New Orleans, the new service also covers Metairie, where there has been a local Whole Foods Market. The hours of delivery is from 8 AM to 10 PM, and Amazon promises that orders could be delivered within hours. Amazon Prime is a $13/month subscription that also provides television and movie streaming as well as expedited delivery.
