With ten new songs Matt & Kim are singing into the summer. Their unique blend of indie pop, hip-hop, and EDM creates catchy songs you just want to awkwardly sway-dance to. The usual upbeat and catchy rhythms are still present in the new album, however songs such as “Hey Now” and “Not Alone” display uses of other instruments that add a jazzy element to the songs. “Stirred Up,” “Not Alone,” and “Hoodie On,”also contain techno sounds that add to their newer EDM sound. Matt & Kim may be trying to change their tune, however some of the tracks start to blend together after the use of certain auto-tuned sounds start to sound the same. My favorite track on the album is “Killin’ Me.”
