Safety for all During Carnival
Help fund some extra support for those working hard to keep the streets safe and crowds organized during the elaborate Carnival season here in New Orleans.
During the parades, police officers play a key role in keeping crowds safe from rolling floats, responding to medical emergencies, and timing marching groups and floats as the parade rolls. Whether in the cold, heat, or rain, this is a tiring job that requires standing for long periods of time and remaining vigilant.
