The Krewe of Orpheus announced this week that Actor Keegan-Michael Key will ride on their Monarch float this Mardi Gras.
“Our Orpheus members are excited to welcome a star of this magnitude,” said Orpheus Krewe Captain Sonny Borey. “With his exceptional comedic talent, we know his presence cannot help but add to the revelry and laughter of Carnival season.”
Key is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He has starred in such works as Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, Mad TV, and the most recent Netflix Original series Friends from College. He has also been in such films as Pitch Perfect 2, Keanu, Tomorrowland and Why Him?.
Key will be joining a list of celebrities at the Krewe of Orpheus’ Orpheuscapade. Orpheuscapade is Monday, February 12th, from 7 p.m.- 3 a.m. at the Morial Convention Center.
