A Streetcar Named Opera Ball

There was a Streetcar Named Desire and a vine-covered balcony, but Stanley and Stella were nowhere to be found. Those two characters were left in the annals of literature while the Women's Guild of the New Orleans Opera Association threw a black tie bash to benefit the New Orleans Opera at The Higgins Hotel.

In addition to lively dancing, a marvelous multi-course meal, and pictures in front of set pieces, the night got really exciting during the raffle for sapphire and diamond earrings courtesy of Diamonds Direct and a live auction that raised thousands with prizes like on-field passes and tickets to a Saints game, fabulous jewelry, and more.

In case you missed The Opera Ball, you can feel the magic of the stage with the upcoming performances Blue in November and Lisette in December.
