A Southern University Alum is Dancing with the Sharks

According to The Advocate (Baton Rouge), on May 1 at 7p.m., Southern University alum and current Houston resident Ladonte Lotts will share his unique idea on Shark Tank.The TV series captures aspiring entrepreneurs as they present their inventions to a panel of multimillion-dollar business personnel. A synopsis of this particular episode reports that, Lotts's "JiggAerobics" was a hit. Indeed, his cardio dance moves got sharks Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O'Leary, Lori Greiner, and Daymond John moving!

The episode will also feature a woman from Old Hickory, Tennessee, seeking to expand her fried-food empire and a father-daughter duo from Alexandria, Virginia, who have conceived a new garden product. Lastly, a young creative of Queens, New York, will pitch her platform intended to connect local artists to customers.

Which of their innovations will capture the sharks' attention? Will a heated bidding war ensue? Find out on May 1 at 7 p.m. on ABC.
