New Orleans was lucky enough to be one of the eight stops on the Kobrand Tour d'Italia which took place at the ever luxurious Ritz Carlton Hotel. Those lucky enough to get a spot were treated to some of the most exclusive and sought-after wines that the country of Italy has to offer. If you want to sample them yourselves, your going to have to visit higher end restaurants around the city and see if it's on the menu. If they don't have it, you must request it. But, believe me, the work is totally worth it. I have to gush over the Medici Emerte portfolio of wines. These deep red wines were made truly spectacular with their slint hint of bright effervesence. The winemaker's own son Alberto Medici was on hand to pour the wine himself.
