Entries for
the fourth annual Crescent City Film Festival (CCFF) are now being accepted.
Presented by
Loyola University filmmaking students, CCFF is a four-day event that
demonstrates how young filmmakers impact the media and arts. Their goal is to
facilitate the communication between diverse voices and the South. Accordingly,
they prioritize a range of voices and talents from around the world.
The festival
will take place from Thursday, April 21, to Sunday, April 24. It'll feature
films of all genres, documentaries, experimental films, and music videos from
people living in the United States, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean
islands. Each film will be evaluated by a panel of judges based on length and
audience choice. There will also be Q&A panels by the filmmakers.
Each
submission costs $10 for students and $20 for non-students. Aspiring filmmakers
with no more than three feature films and five short films are encouraged to
submit them before February 14.
