Emeril Lagasse’s 34 Restaurant & Bar to Host a Vindima Celebration

34 Restaurant and Bar Embraces Vindima
34 Restaurant and Bar, located in the Warehouse District at 714 Baronne St., is hosting a Vindima celebration on December 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Vindima is a traditional grape harvest in Portuguese culture, which invites communities to celebrate seasonal bounty by gathering grapes and often sharing a celebratory meal. Individuals commemorate the tradition by indulging in food, wine, and music.
New Orleans will gain a glimpse of the post-harvest celebrations of Portugal's wine regions via 34's replication of Portuguese hospitality, inviting select importers and designing a boucherie-style menu.

What to Expect
34 is inspired by Vindima and will host a unique celebration next month, with over 100 wines to taste and various traditional harvest-feast foods.
Tickets are available on OpenTable for $95 per person. VIP tickets are also being sold, but in a limited supply.
VIP tickets grant access to the pre-event Patron Party from 5 to 6 p.m. inside 34's hidden speakeasy, The Utility Room. Guests with such access will be given drinks and appetizers special to the pre-event.

34: A Testament to Portuguese Food & Culture
Restaurateur and chef Emeril Lagasse embraces his Portuguese heritage by dedicating 34's cuisine to the culture.
Lagasse's inspiration for the restaurant was influenced by his childhood and mother, Hilda. While growing up in the largest Portuguese community in the United States, Lagasse acquired his passion for cooking.
Lagasse has instilled these values in his son, Emeril "E.J." Lagasse IV, who has contributed to the reopening of Emeril's in the Warehouse District. His son also collaborates with Lagasse at 34.
Emeril's, the Lagasse flagship, is known for its tapas, jamon bar, and cocktails.
