Young Leadership Council (YLC) has announced the lineup for its annual YLC Wednesday at the Square concerts. The series begins Wednesday, March 20 at 5 p.m. featuring a headlining performance by Big Sam’s Funky Nation with Revivalists side project, RumpleSTEELskin, opening.

“For nearly two decades YLC volunteers have worked tirelessly to produce what has become a time-honored spring tradition for many New Orleans locals and locals-at-heart. Thanks to their continued hard work, we are proud to announce another exciting series featuring outstanding local talent,” said Stephanie Powell, Executive Director of Young Leadership Council. “Many don’t realize that YLC Wednesday at the Square is truly a party with a purpose; proceeds are invested back into the community through YLC’s ten service projects.”

YLC Wednesday at the Square features well-known and critically-acclaimed musical acts hailing from the New Orleans area and broader region. Headliners will include Flow Tribe, Irma Thomas, Eric Lindell, Kermit Ruffins, Marc Broussard, Deacon John, Kristen Diable & The City, Mia Borders and many others. The concerts will take place every Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., March 20 through May 22 in downtown New Orleans at Lafayette Square (between Camp Street and St. Charles Avenue, directly across from Gallier Hall).
