Renowned scholastic word-mill Lake Superior University has unveiled its 41st Annual List of Bannished Words. Conceived during a staff New Year's Eve party in 1976, the list has since grown to include more than 800 words selected from tens of thousands of nominations.
Leading this year's list of verbal blunders is beginning a sentence with the word "so."
