The Bower and sister restaurant Birdy's have become Lower Garden District institutions for dinner, drinks, breakfast, and brunch, respectively. This occurred in spite of opening just before the doldrums of COVID shuttered so many other eateries. Four years on, diners will be pleased to enjoy the latest addition to the twin restaurants that will provide comfort from the hot sun and shelter from the rain. The tall-ceilinged patio cover added to the outdoor area behind the restaurants not only shade diners, they include fans for the hottest days and heaters for cold ones.
As you enjoy your shady seats away from bustling Magazine Street, The Bower will entice you with Executive Chef Marcus Woodham's delicacies such as Truffled Parmesan Bread, Pork Osso Bucco, and Basil Spaghetti. The picture-perfect, pretty cocktails like Mood Ring, Chargarita, and Kissed By A Rose were crafted by Beverage Director Mickey Mullins for the sophisticated palate of New Orleans imbibers.
