The variety spectacular presented by Lefty Lucy and Callender Girl, 40 Over 40, will be premiering this fall in New Orleans! The performance will take place on Friday, September 15 at 10:30 p.m. at the Allways Lounge & Cabaret. The venue is located at 2240 St. Claude Avenue.
Doors will open at 10 p.m. with a prompt 10:30 p.m. start. Those who come early will be able to enjoy a pre-show performance by Slick Skillet Serenaders featuring Jobydiah Hudson III, Matthew Dethrow, and Beardsley.
This exciting event will help celebrate the 40th birthdays of burlesque performer extraordinaire, Lefty Lucy, and Naomi Callendar. This is a one-night-only evening and tickets can be purchased starting at $40 on Eventbrite.
Not only the cast of 40 Over 40, but the entire staff and crew is proudly over 40 years old, and happy to be so! Even the doorman and bartender were all born before 1983.
The extremely talented cast of comedians, burlesque artists, drag performers, and musicians will provide a passionate reminder that a post-40 life is far from over and is still upbeat and full of fun.
40 Over 40 will feature live music by Stanley Roy and Tsarina Hellfire, drag by Vanessa Carr Kennedy, comedy by Geneva Joy Hughs, Shep Kelly, and Jane Banks, as well as countless burlesque performers!
The whole night will be co-produced by Lefty Lucy and Naomi Callender, and will be a fun night for all! Come celebrate their 40th birthdays with the fabulous 40+ cast and crew.
