New "Head Quarters" in Historic Jazz Landmark

Nice Guys Nola has expanded its culinary empire by opening their latest venture, "Headquarters," located in a renowned R&B historical landmark in the Central Business District, famously known as "The Birthplace of Jazz." The location previously housed Frank Douroux's Little Gem Saloon, a pivotal jazz club over a century ago.

The grand opening of Headquarters was marked on May 1 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Co-owners Allison and Glenn Charles delivered heartfelt remarks about their journey and the significance of their new establishment in preserving the cultural heritage of New Orleans. The event also featured statements from Mayor LaToya Cantrell's office and an invocation by Pastor Jonathan Everett, underscoring the community's endorsement of the venture.

Equipped with several A-list guests, the two-floor interior of the restaurant was set for celebration. The ribbon cutting featured appearances by Zulu Tramps and the Original Black Seminole Baby Dolls. The live music added to the celebration of old and new alike with local jazz and R&B artists Meghan Stewart and Ariee performing at the event.

Not only will Nice Guys Nola boast yet another hot spot for food and drink, but Headquarters will return the music and energy to the historic building that existed decades prior. Head to Headquarters downtown for good food, drink, and vibes.
