The Lafitte Greenway is Officially Open!

Mayor Landrieu and the friends of the Lafitte Greenway have officially opened the Greenway for public use. The 2.6 mile stretch goes from the intersection of N. Alexander and St. Louis in Mid-City to Basin and St. Louis in the Tremé. It hosts a 12-foot path for pedestrians and cyclists, LED energy-efficient lighting, shade trees, meadows and more. The opening celebration is this Saturday, so check out the itinerary below!
