Saba Hosts a Red Beans Party

Chef Alon Shaya's restaurant Saba put their usual menu items on hold to host a Red Beans and Rice dinner in support of the Crescent City Farmer's Market. He and his wife were in attendance to dish out traditional and vegetarian red beans and rice served atop brown rice, kale salad, citrus salad, potato salad, macaroni salad, and the sweetest corn bread I've ever eaten. For dessert, there was strategically-placed chocolate chip cookies and two flacors of gelato.
