If you’ve never heard of Ruby Rose, chances are you’ve been missing out on one of the best shows that has ever come to Netflix: Orange is the New Black.
But if you are a fan, then you might have already known that before she was everyone’s new favorite Litchfield inmate, the actress was quite a prominent DJ in her home country of Austraila. Now that she has found her big break from OITNB, as well as continued love and support from the LGBTQ community, she’s been busy on tour sharing her music and DJ'ing abilities with the masses around the world.
Her touring DJ set has lately included remixes of Skrillex and Diplo’s "Where Are U Now", The Weeknd’s "Often", One Republic’s "Apologize", Clean Bandit’s "Rather Be", Icona Pop’s "I Love It" and even Taylor Swift’s "Bad Blood".
Rusy Rose will appear live on stage Friday, May 13, at the Metropolitan Nightclub, performing an intimate DJ set for her New Orleans fans. The event is 18+ and while the doors open at 9:00 p.m., you could find yourself dancing the night away until 5:00 a.m. when the music is set to end. Tickets range from $15-$40 and can be purchased HERE.
