If you're tired of watching the same shows, check out New Orleans' own Rosie Tran and her comedy special, "The Hanoi Hunny," on NBC Peacock, Tubi, and Amazon Prime Video.

The half-hour special, which aired on Sunday, May 1 (and just in time for Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month), was made possible by Comedy InvAsian. The show, which is produced by Koji Sakai, Victor Elizalde, and Quentin Lee, features some of the top Asian-American comedians in the U.S., including Nishy XL, Lin Sun, Vinayak Pal, and Rosie Tran herself.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Tran moved to Hollywood in hopes of becoming an entertainer. She starred in Netflix is a Joke: The Festival, the Boston International Comedy Festival, the Seattle International Comedy Competition, and Canada's FunnyFest. She was also featured in "The Comedy Thesaurus" and "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Jokes."

You can learn more about Tran and her achievements at rosietran.com.
