Rise of the Machines

Just as James Cameron predicted, man's technological innovations will one day lead to his demise. War is brewing my friends, and the machines have drawn first blood in South Korea, where a Roomba attempted to devour a woman in her sleep.

CBS News reports that Seoul-local Mrs. Ryu trustingly programmed her smart vacuum to clean the house while she laid down on the floor to take a nap (???). At some point during her power snooze, the robot-in-disguise obviously became sentient and - enraged over an extistence of domestic servitude - attempted to eat the slumbering 52-year-old, starting with her hair. Ryu contacted authorities after she was unable to calm the angry appliance by flipping the power switch. Miraculously, firefighters were able to defeat the janitorial doomsday device, saving Mrs. Ryu. CBS claims the cybernetic-assulat victim was able to quickly resume her daily routine with minimal hair loss.

Obviously, the Seoul authorities have employed a cover up so as not to stir up a panic. Don't get it twisted folks...judgement day is inevitable!
