Comin' in hot! The Red Hot Chili Peppers are jumping in to the Jazz Fest 2022 line up. They'll be bringing their high energy show to New Orleans Jazz Fest goers on Sunday, May 1. This will be their first show at the event since 2016, and if you were there for that one, you know what a wild performance they put on.

The 6-time Grammy-winning Red Hot Chili Peppers is made up of Anthony Kids on vocals, Flea on bass, Chad Smith on drums, and John Frusciante on guitar. The band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Their funk-punk-rock sound is legendary for creating high-energy performances that get audiences bouncing and slamming to the beat.

Their landmark album Blood Sugar Sex Magik in 1991, a multi-platinum included songs like "Give it Away" and "Under the Bridge." Prolific and powerful, the band put out several albums since then and in April of this year released Unlimited Love.

Come check them out at the Jazz Fest this year. They'll be closing out the first weekend at 5:30 on the Festival Stage. This show is guaranteed to rock. See you there!
