Is your work stressing you out? Are current events becoming too much for you to handle? Is mental health becoming a challenge? Well, fear not, because Ogden Museum staff is hosting a yoga and meditation session that will help clear your mind!
Starting March 31, the museum will host in-person sessions on the first and third Thursdays this spring from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Mikhayla Harrell, museum educator, will teach guests how to use meditation and yoga as an art tool for relaxation, stress-reduction, and mindful contemplation. Meditation styles throughout the season include mindfulness, walking meditation, and Vipassana techniques.
Whether you're a master or just getting started with yoga, everyone is welcome. The sessions are free for Louisiana residents, and chairs will be provided. If you'd rather meditate on a cushion, you're free to bring one.
Guests are encouraged to sign up in advance. To register for a session, visit ogdenmuseum.org.
