Nutty Name Causes Controversy in France

Add "weird baby names" to the list of uniquely American traditions.

A family in France hoped to name their daughter Nutella, like the Italian chocolate hazelnut spread, but was shut down by a French judge. According to The Local, the judge ruled that naming the child Nutella was "not in the best interest of the child" and she would risk "being mocked."

Keep in mind if you are dreaming to be like the stars and name your kid Carpet, Apple, or North-West, stay on this side of the pond.
