New Orleans announces the third annual New Orleans Irish Film Fest taking place October 10-12 at the Prytania Theatre. Six classic and contemporary Irish will be featured, including:
My Left Foot – The 1989 Oscar winning biography about Christy Brown, who was born with cerebral palsy and learns to paint and write with his left foot.
Good Vibrations – A chronicle of record-store owner Terri Hooley, who was instrumental in developing Belfast's punk-rock scene.
The Irish Pub – Alex Fegan's documentary about some of the most famous Irish pubs on the Emerald Isle.
Animated Ireland - A collection of animated shorts curated by animation maverick Steve Woods.
