The New Orleans Film Festival announced its opening- and closing-night films, as well as its centerpiece film.
The centerpiece film is Minari, the story of a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm. The opening night film is Farewell Amor, which tells the story of an Angolan immigrant's reunion with his wife and daughter after 17 years apart. The closing night film is MLK/FBI, a documentary detailing the extensive FBI surveillance and harassment of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The 31st annual New Orleans Film Festival will be online and in outdoor venues from November 6 thru 22.
