By: Sofia Gomez Alonso

Let's face it, music has most likely been your best friend during the past few months in quarantine. Whether you are cooking, taking a shower, working out, or just having a dance party on your own, you are probably tired of streaming the same seven songs that you have been listening to since quarantine started. If that is the case, we can help. The list below includes five of the newest albums or songs for you to stream while you engage in your favorite activities.

Folklore by Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift surprised the world by releasing her latest album on July 24, without prior notice or promotion. It was written and recorded as the singer went into isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It includes a series of relaxed and folk-inspired songs that are perfect for healing the quarantine blues or for relaxing after a long day of remote work. This album features duets with Bon Iver and Justin Vernon and includes tracks with sounds similar to those of Lana del Rey. Folklore is definitely worth a listen, if you are looking to unwind and destress.

Lianne La Havas by Lianne La Havas

Lianne La Havas is a British R&B/soul singer and songwriter. In her newest album, she explores her feelings after the end of a long-term relationship, through her lyrics, which evoke the singer's newly found strength and confidence. La Havas returns to the music scene with her newest album after a five-year-long break. Her new songs are not only perfect for those going through a break-up, but also for anyone who is trying to embrace their emotional vulnerability.

My Future by Billie Eilish

The 18-year-old singer and songwriter took the world by storm after she released her album When We Fall Asleep, Where do We Go?, which was produced and recorded entirely from her bedroom. After having taken a break from releasing new music, Eilish is back with her newest song, "My Future,"which makes for the perfect pandemic song, as it is laid-back and easy-going.

"Un Día" by Dua Lipa, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Tainy

The British pop singer Dua Lipa joined some of the leading voices of the Latino/urbano genre to produce this song, which combines the upbeat sounds of reggaeton with the easy-going beats of pop, making it the perfect summer song. This bilingual collaboration is already topping charts around the world, so it should definitely have a place on your playlist.

No Pressure by Logic

Rap artist Logic released this album in July, along with the announcement that he will be taking a break from releasing new music in order to focus on parenting. This album acts as a sequel to his 2014 album Under Pressure, and it explores a variety of themes, ranging from daily life struggles to having a child and becoming a new father. This album is perfect for rap-lovers and those who are looking to diversify their playlists.
